Relient K A very talented punk/rock band that, yes, praises God openly in their songs. Yet, they have some very fun songs as well about nothing, high school, girls, life, etc. Check them out...they're great!

Peter, Paul, & Mary I don't think I need to explain who these people are...timeless.

GRITS Best rap group currently on the market, bar none. Is there a rap group or rapper out there today who DOESN'T rap about getting women, money, and clubs? These guys are it. Yeah, Eminem is talented, but every knows he has serious issues. The best part is, the guys of GRITS (Grammatical Revolution In The Spirit) are Christians! Yep, that's right...the best rap group out there right now is composed of two Christians. Who ever thought Christians could rap? The reason I say they're the best is not because they follow Christ...I actually believe that their tracks and their rhymes and their presentation of those rhymes are the best in the rap genre right now.

Simon & Garfunkel Again, I don't think I need to explain who these people are...more classics.

Switchfoot Find out more about the most talked about group of the year, as well as get tour dates, new releases, etc. They've been on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Late Show with David Letterman, as well as "On the Air" with Ryan Seacrest, among others. It's good to see this great group of Christian guys getting plenty of air time on national television as well as on MTV and rock stations around the country.

Jonah 33 A new Christian rock group, with the style of Creed, that puts out great rock hits as well as great rock ballads. Ryan "Pete" Eekhoff, a high school friend of mine, was the bassist but recently left to start a tour-booking company. Good luck, Pete!

Shane & Shane Find out more about these guys, whom I met in Colorado Springs, with amazing guitars, voices, harmonies, and hearts for God. Their latest hit is called "Be Near" and you can listen to it on the website. They also are coming out with a new record called "Upstairs" very soon.

U2 The official website of one of the greatest bands of all time.

GLAD Find out more about this quintet, one of the greatest Christian a capella groups of all time. They do amazing things vocally. All the usual stuff like music, online store, tour dates, etc. at the official GLAD website. Their harmonies will blow you away.

Skillet Once again, the official website of Skillet, a Christian rock group with an eclectic yet unique style. Check out their newest album "Collide." I hear it's really good. Their style is a mix of alternative, rock, punk, and techno.

PAX217 Their second album, "Engage", recently came out, and, I gotta tell ya, this Christian rock group uses a 311-style reggae to really rock the house. Fans of P.O.D. should also check out PAX217.

Third Day These guys have been around awhile, but this Christian rock group's music never gets old. Check out their official website.

Haven of Rest A wonderful quartet for those who prefer more traditional Christian music presented in a new way without taking too many liberties with the original music. Like GLAD, their a cappella stuff is amazing.

Gotee Records Check out several artists at once, like Relient K, GRITS, John Reuben, DJ Maj, 4th Avenue Jones', etc. At this site you can purchase their albums, or listen to MP3's first to see if you like them.

Sonshine Christian Music Festival July 14-16, 2005 in Willmar, MN. Check out the bands and buy tickets online! There will be about 120 bands there this year! Buy tickets before April for the early bird price. Right now we're hoping to take our youth group out there!
