Spybot  If you only check out one of these links, make it be this one!  At this site you can download a free program which will scan your entire computer to find programs and files which record which websites you visit most often, your search preferences, and even your every keystroke on the keyboard (very easy to find your passwords and, if you do any banking or bill paying online, your account numbers).  The site also has step-by-step instructions on how to go about removing those files and programs properly.  However, some of the steps might require you to speak "computer-ese" a bit, so, if you have ANY questions, PLEASE contact me by giving me a ring or emailing me at sammyjames33@hotmail.com.  I would be happy to help you keep your computer and your confidential information more secure.  Feel free to check out other free programs to keep your computer safe and secure at this same website, CNET's Download.com.  However, be sure to read user ratings first before trying anything, or give me a call to get another opinion on a program.  I'd be happy to research it for you.

Ad-Aware  Click on this to get a free copy of this adware removal program.  Between this one and Spybot, you should be able to remove most of the adware and spyware on your computer, if not all.

Symantec Security Response  Check out this website by the makers of Norton Anti-Virus to find out the latest information about the latest virus threats to your computer and even download free programs (tools) to scan your computer, and, if one is found, remove the virus.

Microsoft Security  Most of you have a computer that runs on Microsoft's Windows Operating System so I recommend checking out this website to get the latest reports and free downloads to patch security leaks on your computer.

That's all for now...let me know if you have more questions about security risks.  I'd be happy to research them for you.
